Originaire de Cognac, Selor a fait évoluer sa technique au gré de ses rencontres et de pérégrinations. Il s’exerce aujourd’hui dans des styles comme la peinture rupestre contemporaine ou encore l’acrylique. Depuis 2012, il concilie passion du voyage et celle du street art en peignant des éphémères dans les rues et terrains vagues de villes comme Londres, Dublin, Séville, Lisbonne, Paris… Bordeaux.

Ses œuvres, compostions très colorées, mêlent coulures, animaux imaginaires aux traits naïfs et enfantins et sont parfois accompagnées d’une petite légende ironique. Selor, a native of Cognac, has been decorating the walls he comes across for nearly a decade. His technique developed as a result of his personal encounters and wanderings, and he works today in styles ranging from contemporary cave art to acrylics. Since 2012, he has combined his passions for travel and for street art by painting ephemeral works in the streets and vacant lots of cities including Lo ndon, Dublin, Seville, Lisbon, Paris and Bordeaux.

His colourful compositions mix drippings and imaginary animals with naïve and childlike features; they are sometimes accompanied by a short and ironic caption. It’s through these few words that the convictions of Selor burst forth most visibly; for him, the social aspect of urban art appears fundamental.
